My mother will soon be 90 years old (yes, really!). It’s amazing when I think of what my mom has seen and experienced in her lifetime: the evolution of the automobile, various technologies, delivery of various services, and how our lives have evolved because of these different innovations. Seriously – think about your life today [...]
For most clothing labels, gone are the days of the small, concealed, insignificant tag imprinted with Helvetica or Times New Roman. The modern day clothing tag is now a well type directed, well designed, integral part of the clothing. After all, who doesn’t love an awesome tag.
With the addition of a couple brand new teams and/or name changes to existing teams, I thought I would update this post with the 2011-2012 Big Fantasy Football League logos. Enjoy.

It’s my nature to be skeptical of new advertising campaigns. I tend to look for creative flaws, poke holes in the tactics and be jaded with my response. Big Time Rush. Miranda Cosgrove. Victoria Justice. What do they have in common? They are all a part of Nickelodeon and Disney’s evil plan to brainwash us into thinking that all you need to be a singer (not a musician, they play instruments) are good looks and an auto-tuner.
Can anyone stop this mindless horde of bubble-gum-auto-tuned-sound-alike [...]
Sometimes it’s hard to be a parent. Sometimes it can be very messy and disorganized. And for the rest of you dads out there (and mom’s) – you know it often takes a great deal of love, patience and the simple trust in “letting go.”

On Saturday, we had a chance to help one of our favorite charities, Matthew 25 Health & Dental Clinic, by participating in its annual Dr. Philip O’Shaughnessy Walk/Run For Health at Foster Park.
All proceeds from the event fund the clinic, providing free medical, dental and vision services to the uninsured, low-income residents of Allen County.
